How Does the Sculptra® Butt Lift Work?
Sculptra® is commonly referred to as the “liquid butt lift”. The non-surgical injectable is placed directly into the fatty tissue above the muscle at strategic locations to enhance the buttocks. Sculptra® is comprised of a unique Poly-L-Lactic acid which stimulates natural collagen production. Aside from adding volume, patients can also smooth cellulite and improve the overall texture of skin at the treatment site.
Am I A Good Candidate for Sculptra® Butt Lift?
The ideal candidate for a non-surgical butt lift with Sculptra® is an otherwise healthy adult with realistic expectations about what the procedure can do for them. Sculptra® won’t give you instantly dramatic changes. Instead, the procedure is intended to gradually and progressively contour and lift the buttocks. Patients with depressed buttocks tend to benefit best from the procedure.

Frequently Asked Questions
How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?
Your actual Sculptra® treatment won’t take very long at all. The injection process can be done in as little as 10-15 minutes. However, a topical anesthetic will be applied approximately 30-minutes beforehand to make treatment as comfortable as possible. Most patients tolerate the procedure quite well and are in and out of the office within the hour.
What Results Will I See?*
You’ll see some immediate plumpness after Sculptra® treatments. After several days, the active ingredients in Sculptra® start to take effect and gradually boost the size and enhance the shape of the buttocks over the course of several months. Depending on the amount of fullness you’d like to see, you may need up to 4-treatments spaced 3-weeks apart. When used for butt augmentation, Sculptra® has been shown to trigger long-term collagen production up to 2-3 years.
Is There Any Downtime?
Sculptra® has little to no downtime involved. Patients can return to most regular activities right away. To encourage the medication to adequately spread, you should gently massage the treatment area for 5-minutes, 5 times a day for several days. Aside from feeling slightly sore, there are very few adverse side effects with your non-surgical butt lift.
