Bellafill®

Do you want a long-term solution for unwanted lines and wrinkles?

Are you bothered by thinning lips or sunken under-eye hollows? Have fine lines turned into full-blown wrinkles or severe facial folds? Are you interested in a skin rejuvenation treatment that lasts years instead of months? If so, we invite you to try minimally-invasive Bellafill® injections at Manhattan Aesthetics.

Bellafill®, also known as Artefill®, is a long-lasting dermal filler. Unlike other cosmetic injectable fillers, Bellafill® is designed to be a long-term solution, with results lasting at least 5-years. It can be used to add volume to your lips, smooth out wrinkles, and lessen the hollows beneath your eyes. At Manhattan Aesthetics, we’re able to produce both immediate and lasting results with minimal pain, side effects, or downtime.

How Does Bellafill® Work?

Bellafill® is a dual-acting filler that is largely made of collagen, which is gradually integrated into your body to soften lines and reduce scars. The collagen is paired with polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) microspheres to create a foundation upon which your own collagen can build. These microspheres act as structural support for your skin for an overall smoother-looking complexion.

Am I A Good Candidate for Bellafill®?

The ideal candidate for Bellafill® is one who is in otherwise good health and has realistic expectations about what the procedure can do for them. Ideally, the patient will have had previous experience with fillers and know what results they can achieve. Chances are if you’re looking for a long-term anti-aging solution, Bellafill® can help.

Bellafill® is a unique soft tissue filler that has a wide range of uses  including;

Adding volume to thin lips
Smoothing wrinkles throughout the face
Plumping hollows below the eyes
Minimizing acne scars

As with all procedures at Manhattan Aesthetics, we will examine your skin prior to providing your treatment. This examination will include an allergy test to ensure there will be no adverse effects from the product. Bellafill® is FDA-approved for men and women 21+.

How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?

Bellafill® treatments don’t typically take very long at all. Once you’ve undergone an allergy test and skin examination, your provider will schedule a short, in-office visit. Bellafill® is enhanced with lidocaine and administered via ultra fine-gauge needles making treatment comfortable throughout. You can expect your entire treatment to last just 10-15 minutes.

What Results Will I See?*

Bellafill® produces both immediate and lasting results. The dual-acting treatment gives patients instant volume and lifts the area around the injection site. In most cases, you’ll be able to achieve your desired results with just one Bellafill® session. Results from Bellafill® have been clinically proven to last at least 5-years. However, many patients are happy with the outcome of their procedure much longer.

Is There Any Downtime?

Enjoy little to no downtime with this long-lasting filler. Many patients opt to get back to their busy lifestyles directly following their appointment. Side effects are temporary but may include redness, increased sensitivity, and/or lumps and bumps. These symptoms should gradually subside over the course of 1-7 days. Over-the-counter pain medication, ice packs, and makeup can help easily manage any adverse symptoms you experience.
