How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?
While treatment times often vary based on the treatment you’ve chosen as well as the severity of your condition, you can generally expect to be in and out of the office within the hour. In fact, ThermiSmooth® treatments are done in just 15-45 minutes. Non-invasive skin tightening treatments utilize a temperature-controlled device making your procedure comfortable even without the application of a topical anesthetic.
What Results Will I See?*
Patients can see some initial results immediately after their in-office visit. Skin will appear firmer, tighter, and more youthful. The best results from your procedure will become noticeable anywhere between 2-6 weeks as long-term collagen levels are boosted. Results from your treatment can last up to 1-year or more. Touch-up treatments are safe and effective as your skin’s natural aging process continues.
Is There Any Downtime?
You won’t need any downtime with either TruSculpt® 3D or ThermiSmooth®. Treatments are done in-office, and you’ll be able to return to most normal activities directly thereafter. Side effects are typically mild and short-lived but can include swelling, redness, or tenderness at the treatment site for several hours to several days. Any discomfort can be easily managed with over-the-counter pain medication and/or ice packs during this time.
