What is Excel V+?
Excel V+ was created specifically to address the reds, purples, browns, and blues of vascular dysfunction, from those clusters of superficial veins beneath the skin that cause diffuse redness of the cheeks or nose, to spider vein clusters on the face or legs, which can be a sign of a more serious issue. But venous lesions are not necessarily an age thing. They occur in up to 50% of people over 18, and whether chronic or cosmetic, they can really affect people’s mental and emotional health. Excel V+ can treat up to 20 unique skin conditions, including rosacea, diffuse redness, spider veins, and acne scars.

What’s the Excel V+ Procedure Like?
For most patients, the Excel V+ procedure is relatively comfortable, not causing any more discomfort than the snap of a rubber band to the skin. This is because Excel V+ is equipped with sapphire contact cooling in the handpiece’s tip, which delivers continuous cooling before, during, and after each laser pulse. Your Manhattan Aesthetics laser expert will move the Excel V+ handpiece over the skin of your treatment area while the pulses of the two wavelengths in your custom combination are directed at vascular irregularities in your skin. Treatment is often complete in as little as 5-10 minutes. At most, your session should last no more than 45 minutes.
