How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?
Most of our acne treatments can be completed in as little as 30-minutes. In-office treatments are typically quick, easy, and virtually pain-free. While a local anesthetic can be provided to minimize any discomfort, many patients tolerate procedures very well without them. You can expect your entire procedure to last about 1-hour.
What Results Will I See?*
While acne treatments go to work on your active acne immediately, you probably won’t start to see clearer skin for 1-2 weeks. Ultimately, results can vary based on the treatment you’ve chosen. Many patients can achieve their initial goals with just one chemical peel. Up to 3-6 non-invasive Aerolase® procedures may be needed to achieve maximum benefits. Maintenance treatments can be done as needed to keep acne at bay for as long as possible.
Is There Any Downtime?
Acne treatments at Manhattan Aesthetics have minimal downtime. In fact, Aerolase® procedures have zero downtime allowing patients to get back to their normal routine immediately. Chemical peels may have 1-2 days of downtime depending on the severity of your condition.
