How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?
Patients love the VI Peel because it’s quick, easy, and virtually painless. The peel is applied in layers until desired results are achieved. Your provider monitors every step to ensure an optimal outcome for your skin. The VI Peel typically takes just 30-minutes from start to finish. Patients can expect to be in and out of the office within the hour.
What Results Will I See?*
A brighter, clearer, more even skin tone can be seen after just one VI Peel. Patients with severe concerns or overly dark circles below the eyes may need anywhere from 2-3 treatments to achieve an optimal outcome. However, you’ll see gradual improvement after each additional treatment. Final results from your procedure can be seen in about 1-week following your last session.
Is There Any Downtime?
There is limited downtime with the VI Peel. You should avoid sweating and direct sun exposure for several days post-treatment. Your provider will instruct you on when and how to remove your VI Peel at home. After about 3-days, your skin will begin to flake with peeling lasting about 1-week before fresh skin is revealed.
