How Does the HydraFacial® Syndeo™ Work?
Manhattan Aesthetics offers the HydraFacial® Syndeo™, the most advanced HydraFacial® system, with more customization and treatment options. Like the original HydraFacial®, it uses a three-step process to produce results.
Cleanse
During this step, the HydraFacial® wand thoroughly but gently cleanses your skin. A light peel then removes dull, dead outer layers of skin to reveal fresh, healthy ones. Removing these old layers allows your skin to absorb the benefits of the following steps.
Extract
During this step, the wand uses gentle suction that deeply cleans pores by extracting dirt, oil, and dead skin cells. This process leaves your skin looking smoother and your pores tighter. It also removes any debris that would keep the skin from absorbing beneficial treatments.
Hydrate
During this step, carefully selected serums are applied to your skin. These offer benefits such as brightening, anti-aging, and oil control. Your skin also receives a dose of powerful hydration that will leave it plump and glowing.
Am I a Good Candidate for the HydraFacial® Syndeo™?
One of the benefits of a HydraFacial® is that almost anyone can enjoy one. Good candidates for a HydraFacial® include people with acne, sensitive skin, signs of aging, and anyone who wants smoother, more luminous skin. While almost anyone can receive this treatment, you should not have one if you have a rash, skin infection, or sunburn.
Patients seeking more dramatic, long-lasting skin rejuvenation may benefit from another treatment like microneedling or Laser Genesis. Many patients use HydraFacial® as a way to enhance and maintain the results of their facial treatments.
What is it Like Getting a HydraFacial®?
Since HydraFacial® is customizable, treatment can last from 30 to 45 minutes. You will not feel any discomfort during the treatment, although, during the extract step, you will feel the suction working on your skin. Your HydraFacial® provider moves the wand over your skin, allowing it to treat the entire surface.
