Loose, sagging, and drooping skin is caused by several factors, including a loss of the collagen that gives skin its laxity, and a loss of skin-supporting fat. At Manhattan Aesthetics, we use ThermiSmooth®, a unique radiofrequency (RF) technology, to tighten the skin and rebuild collagen over time.
Unlike alternative procedures (such as Thermage, BTL Exillis Ultra, and Titan, to name a few), the ThermiSmooth® device provides a pain-free solution for effectively tightening skin.

How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?
When you receive a ThermiSmooth® skin tightening treatment, our practitioners will begin by applying a small amount of gel to the treatment area. We then calibrate the specialized ThermiSmooth® device to the precise temperature, and the handpiece is used to gently massage the treatment area in a circular motion. Treatments last between 15 and 45 minutes, depending on the size of the areas treated. ThermiSmooth® is the only system that has a temperature-controlled handpiece making the procedure comfortable throughout.
What Results Will I See?*
Many patients report instantly tighter-feeling, firmer-looking skin after their ThermiSmooth® treatment. Gradual skin tightening effects can continue up to 3-months producing a further improvement over time. ThermiSmooth® is a long-lasting procedure and results can typically be seen up to 1-year or more. Maintaining a good skincare regime can prolong the outcome of your treatment.
While skin tightening can occur after just one session, most patients need a series of 4-treatments spaced 1-month apart per area. Touch-up treatments can be done every 9-12 months to combat the continued aging process.
Is There Any Downtime?
ThermiSmooth® doesn’t have any downtime involved. Men and women are able to quickly get back to their normal routine directly after their in-office treatment. Side effects are minimal but can include minor redness, swelling, or tenderness for up to several hours post-treatment.
