How Does Xeomin® Work?
Xeomin (incobotulinumtoxinA) is an FDA-approved injectable used to treat moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows. This cosmetic injectable is made from the bacteria that causes botulism and works by blocking nerve-muscle communication. Xeomin® temporarily reduces muscle activity and in turn relaxes the skin and smooths the appearance of unwanted lines and wrinkles.
Am I A Good Candidate for Xeomin®?
Xeomin® may be right for you if you are bothered by moderate-to-severe frown lines between the brows. The neuro blocker doesn’t have any additives making it less likely that you’ll build up a resistance to it compared to similar treatments. Patients who are no longer getting the results they want from Botox® might be able to benefit from Xeomin®.

Frequently Asked Questions
How Long Does a Typical Treatment Take?
Xeomin® treatments are quick, easy, and generally pain-free. Treatments can be done in less than 15-minutes making them one of the fastest wrinkle reduction procedures on the market. While treating Crow’s feet is very comfortable, some patients find smoothing forehead lines to be somewhat less tolerable. A topical numbing cream can be applied beforehand but many patients don’t bother with it. Patients who do opt for anesthetic should account for an additional 30-minutes in-office.
What Results Will I See?*
Xeomin® is an alternative to Botox® and is comparable to Botox® in both the amount of time it takes to have an effect and the duration of those effects. Patients typically start to see results in just 3-days with full results taking up to 1-week to become evident. Results from Xeomin® gradually dissipate after 3-6 months. After which, touch-up treatments will be needed to maintain results.
Is There Any Downtime?
One of the best things about Xeomin® is the minimal downtime involved.
