How SculpSure® Works

How BOTOX® Works

BOTOX® is a neurotoxin that blocks the neurotransmitters responsible for moving the muscles that create the forehead wrinkles, brow furrows, and crow’s feet. How Microneedling Works

Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body responsible for the smooth, firm, bright skin we associate with youth and beauty. Collagen production slows with age, and the collagen we do produce loses quality. This is why our skin loses tension and becomes lax, more prone to wrinkling and sagging.

Microneedling combats this by creating tiny micro-injuries through pinprick-sized. At Manhattan Aesthetics, we perform two types of microneedling procedure, traditional and Radio Frequency (RF) microneedling. Both processes use the same general idea: create tiny injuries to the skin so the body’s natural healing process creates new skin cells and produces fresh collagen. This tightens the skin and replaces damaged, scarred, or stretched skin with new cells. The addition of RF to microneedling creates a deeper dermal impact and has a greater effect on acne scarring.

What is the Cost of Microneedling?
