Sculptra® uses synthetic poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). It matches the natural PLLA found in the body, making it well-tolerated and safe. This new collagen supports, lifts, and smooths the skin from beneath, giving you natural-looking wrinkle reduction and more contoured features. Many people benefit from more than one Sculptra® treatment to achieve their desired results. On average, most people will have three treatment sessions.
Your Manhattan Aesthetics provider will assess your needs and determine how many vials of Sculptra® you may need for treatment. Some people may only need one or two vials for each treatment session, while others may need more. The average person will receive six to eight vials throughout multiple treatment sessions. The exact amount of Sculptra® required depends on how much volume you want to add and the areas you have treated.
