How Long Does Radiesse® Last?

Dermal fillers are highly effective at providing excellent results for many different skin issues. Primarily, they’re used to treat the signs of aging – including wrinkles, folds, and loose skin. Manhattan Aesthetics offers a variety of dermal filler products for all patients, including Radiesse®. Radiesse® is one of the more well-known fillers on the market, having been used for years and resulting in many happy patients.

What is Radiesse®?

Radiesse® is an injectable dermal filler that’s made of calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA). This substance is naturally found within the human body, residing in the bones and teeth. When Radiesse® dermal fillers are injected, they provide almost instant results. Mainly, this dermal filler adds plumpness and volume to your face, which helps to eradicate wrinkles and make your skin look younger and smoother.

Unlike some other dermal fillers, Radiesse® has multiple uses throughout the face and body. Manhattan Aesthetics often uses Radiesse® to bring more structure to your face, improving the appearance of your cheeks, chin, or nose. Furthermore, you can also use Radiesse® to plump the skin in the hands to restore a more youthful appearance.

How Long Will Radiesse® Last?

Most patients will experience results immediately following treatment. A typical Radiesse® treatment plan will include numerous injections over a few months. After this, the CaHA is naturally metabolized by the body, encouraging more collagen production. In turn, this yields longer-lasting results. At Manhattan Aesthetics, we tend to see patients enjoy the results of Radiesse® for up to around 18 months. From here, we recommend coming back for maintenance appointments to extend the effects.

Benefits of Radiesse®

A key benefit of Radiesse® dermal fillers is that this treatment is proven to be effective at improving the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Your face will have more volume, and your skin will look much smoother than it was previously. These results continue to get better as you go through the treatment process and let the Radiesse® work.

It’s also beneficial in that you require no downtime at all. Most of our patients are able to get on with their day after the treatment. You might experience some very minor side effects, but the beauty of Radiesse® is that it contains a substance found within the body. Thus, this limits any issues relating to allergies or extreme side effects.

Moreover, Radiesse® is such a versatile injectable treatment. It can be used to treat lots of aesthetic concerns all over your face. If you have issues with deep-nasolabial folds, marionette lines, crow’s feet, sunken cheeks, then this treatment will work well for you.
