What Causes Cellulite?

When septae are at their optimal length, the skin stays taught and tight. However, when they start to shrink or aren’t long enough, the skin gets pulled down. This creates a dimpled effect, which is further accentuated by the fat cells in this area pushing out between the fibrous septae bands. As a result, you are left with cellulite.

Septae are likely to shorten when there is a build-up of fat under the skin. How Does Qwo® Work to Reduce Cellulite?

The science behind Qwo® is what makes it such a revolutionary treatment. You are injected with collagenase clostridium histolyticum-aaes, which is a combination of two collagenase enzymes that are naturally found in your body. These enzymes are used to target the fibrous bands of septae, breaking them down and releasing the skin from them.

It lets the skin relax back to its normal state, smoothing it out and stopping the fat from being pushed through.
