Is There Any Downtime with RF Microneedling?

What is RF Microneedling?

Microneedling uses a fine needle to create micro-wounds or channels in the skin, which triggers the production of capillaries, elastin, and collagen. It’s also called Skin Needling or Collagen Induction Therapy.

However, it is referred to as RF microneedling when it is combined with radiofrequency waves. The needles release radio frequencies into the microchannels causing additional damage that enhances standard microneedling effects. 

Is There Any Downtime with RF Microneedling?

The Vivace RF Microneedling device comes with virtually no downtime. However, you may notice slight pink bruises on your skin, but they will disappear quickly. 

You can continue your regular activities after this procedure without any hindrance.

What are the Benefits of RF Microneedling?

Radiofrequency microneedling rejuvenates the skin by targeting acne scars and early signs of aging like fine lines and sagging, as well as hyperhidrosis. 

RF microneedling can also improve several skin issues, including reducing wrinkles, sagging skin, and enlarged pores. 

It may also reduce uneven textured or pigmented areas and redness by rejuvenating your skin’s surface and cellular levels with controlled micro-injuries that trigger collagen production & elastin regeneration.

Am I a Good Candidate for RF Microneedling?

You may be a great candidate for RF microneedling if you are in good health, have early signs of aging, and have realistic expectations. However, you should avoid microneedling treatment if you have recently used Accutane, have an active cold sore breakout, are receiving chemotherapy or radiation therapy, are pregnant, or take anticoagulants.
