You will need a series of treatments to achieve your double chin removal. Most people require three to six sessions, depending on the amount of submental fat and your body’s response. Treatments are spaced four to six weeks apart. You may start to see results within a few weeks of your first treatment, and your full results will develop after your final session.
Fat cells removed by Kybella® do not return so you can maintain long-lasting results. Weight changes may cause the fat cells in the area to accumulate more fat. The best way to keep your slimmer, more sculpted chin is to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Good candidates for Kybella® should be healthy adults with reasonable expectations. Ideal candidates lead a generally healthy lifestyle and are close to their target weight. Kybella® works best for people with good skin elasticity. You should not have this treatment if you have certain medical conditions, including an active skin condition or infection in the treatment area.
